To use or not to use Solar Heat Energy. Really?!?

Here is a scenario to use solar energy:  Mr. Sergio Chapa, reporter with the San Antonio Business Journal, wrote, “Construction is underway for CPS Energy’s “community solar farm.” But after going almost nine months without any paying customers, the city-owned utility’s “roofless solar” program has already slashed its prices by almost one-third.”  No paying customers.  Why?  “Even without any extensive marketing, hundreds of people signed up for information about the program but with the initial price point of $406 to save an average of $1.90 per month on light bills, CPS Energy confirmed that there were no customers.”  Okay, please explain this as if I was a child…invest $406.00 to save $1.90 on my monthly bill.  That Return on Investment is 214 months, which is 18 months.  Come on!  Get a clue!

Here is a scenario to not use solar energy:  Tucson International Airport report applied Super Therm ceramic technology coating and best estimation of HVAC consumption would be about 30% to 35% reduction (reports from ConEdison Energy confirmed a 22% savings on the TOTAL energy consumption).  The application saved the airport just over $22,000 a month on HVAC consumption.  The Return on Investment was within 48 months!!!!

How?  Just look at the technology used on the NASA designed space shuttle.  Rather than trying to generate more GREEN energy to offset rising energy costs, why not, eliminate thermal heat gain by reducing HVAC consumption whose power comes from fossil fuels.  Which would then reduce our dependency on oil producing nations.  There has be smarter people that me who have thought of this.  Please tell me there is because if not we are in one HELLUVA mess!

Sincerely, I don’t mean to be disrespectful but just want to get people thinking about this with some common sense.  Please contact our office for an introduction of this proven (Energy Star partner, USDA approved, Underwriters Laboratory certified, LEED compliant, Factory Mutual inspected, ASTM tested, and VOC compliant coating) one of kind ceramic coating.
