Super Therm® is a water-borne combination of high-performance aliphatic urethanes, elastomeric acrylics, and resin additives which produces a tough, yet flexible coating film. Designed for performance and durability, Super Therm® contains (4) unique ceramics to block up to 95% of the radiation of solar heat from entering a structure due to visual light, ultra violet (UV), and infrared (IR). Super Therm® is a flexible membrane with low permeability that can greatly reduce expansion and contraction of a roof (eliminate thermal shock) and prevent corrosion and surface deterioration. With a Class “A” fire rating that blocks moisture and air infiltration while being environmentally friendly and offering a 20+ year lifespan under normal conditions.
This one-coat insulation system on exteriors blocks the migration of solar heat gain on both roofs and vertical surfaces. As well, Super Therm® seals and blocks some interior IR heat loss. Perfect for refrigerated containers, reefer trucks, and railroad cars when applied to the exterior while also reducing or eliminating condensation on HVAC systems, tanks, spheres, storage systems, and concrete walls then furthermore, Super Therm® stops moisture penetration and corrosion over metal, concrete, masonry, and wood. NO 1 Cool Coating for Las Vegas Henry Reid International Airport! Like we say...SUPER THERM BLOCKS SOLAR HEAT LOAD!
In the soaring heat of Nevada, after two years of extensive testing, the Clark County Department of Aviation decided to incorporate SUPER THERM® into the ongoing refurbishment of all (100 approx.) JBT AeroTech boarding air bridges at LAS. Stifling temperatures in Las Vegas means SUPER THERM outperformed ALL heat reflective paints because it blocks the heat load keeping temperatures near ambient for a very, very long time.
White heat reflective paints try to reflect the visible spectrum of sunlight while clean (44%), blocking the infrared radiation (53%) is critical to the full success of a cool roof insulation coating. Most can’t do this so rely on SRI and being as white as possible. Solar reflectivity is a measure of how much sunlight a roof can reflect – not infrared heat! SUPER THERM BLOCKS SOLAR HEAT LOAD!
When we founded our company in 1977 our vision was to build a mobile vehicle product that was state-of -the -art, rugged and cost effective. We first start by power washing the entire metal roof surface free of dirt and debris. Address any corrosion with Rust Grip. Apply Super Base primer to all hardware and leak prone areas as we perform minor roof repairs such apply new sealant, tighten or replace hardware, and roof seam tape/mesh as necessary.

The Super Therm coating is amazing! Upon finishing up the shop the interior temperature reduction was very noticeable. During this current summer the temperature reduction was a welcome change. Temperature laser gun showed the roof’s temperature underneath was reduced by 20 degrees which resulted in a 10-15 degree interior temperature drop. Strongly recommend SCofST for your roof coating!

The average roofing labor cost is between $1.50 and $3.00 per square foot. In roofing, there's a common term called a “square” that you need to know. One roofing square covers 100 square feet. So you may receive a labor quote of $150 to $300 per square. This is LABOR ONLY! This does not include the material costs or unforeseen damages not found during roof inspection (corrosion underneath, structural, etc.)
Generally metal roofs start to show signs of general wear and tear around 15 to 20 years. A roof replacement is the first thing we think of when a roof is getting up in years, you can always invest in a high quality energy efficient roof coating such as Super Therm®. A Super Therm® roof coating are a thick seamless flexible ceramic roof membrane that are applied by either spraying, rolling, or brushing them on a roof.
